CAN YOU HELP US PLEASE!! Last week my assistance was sought in quite a large rescue. Unfortunately many of the guinea pigs were spirited away before rescuers could remove them all from the property. Twenty have come to me, including one heavily pregnant overbred female, and this absolutely gorgeous boy who despite carrying around that huge ball of matted fur for who knows how long is one of the sweetest little piggies you ever could meet :) (I suspect I already have a home for him :) ) Most of the twenty require treatment for a fungal skin condition and all will be treated for mange mites. I expect all the females to be pregnant as their previous owner was a backyard breeder. This is a particularly busy time of year for surrenders plus weve taken in several found piggies over the past few weeks, one of which was dumped right on our doorstep! I realise this is an expensive time of year for everyone but if you can help out with even a small donation it would be very much appreciated
