CAN YOU SING it was always fun when we had music in school. We leaned how to sing songs as a group. Some of these songs will be with you forever. The Christmas ones were the ones that stood out. The deer with the red nose, the man that was covered in snow and riding a sleigh to visit someone. There was also a man on the roof. A little kid playing a drum. How about a night when no one is talking. Yes we learned song as the seasons changed. The bunny hop, a man at the railroad, a baseball player hitting a ball. We even sang about the wind. Oh yea we worked at the railroad. Maybe we sang just to sing. Singing is a good sign that you have feelings. At first some of us don`t listen to the words but just the music. I remember when we used to go to the dances at the rec. There was no singing then. All instrumentals, the Blue notes I thing started it all for us. We followed them for years until we decided to try our hand at it. A lot of practice and luck and we were on our way. When the 60`s blew wide open you had to sing. When do you know can? Will we got lucky again our members pulled it off. A lot of the experience came from singing at school. There were a lot of people signing in school. The clubs were there if you wanted to. One of the times I saw the Blue Notes sing is when I believe it was Linda Miller at the rec hall. It really doesn`t really to some if you don`t sound good just sing anyway. The later at the bar the better you sound. It`s just a same the these programs are being cut at our school nowadays. You see a lot of schools don`t care for these programs, t5hey a just concerned about the money. As long as administration is getting their raises at the expense of other it doesn`t matter. So take a deep breath and sing a song of sunshine. ( SING,SING) ALL TOGETHER NOW, BY THE BEATLES
