CAR UPDATE — Since I have gotten a few questions about it: The reason it wouldnt shift was because the shift cable was broken. Way cheaper in all ways than a busted transmission would have been. Not only could I not go, but it turns out that two of the brake lines had broken and I wouldnt be able to stop either... with a trail of brake fluid in my wake. I got the car back today in working order. Thank you to my coworker Roger Whitted who helped transport me to my car twice, and for pointing out the gushing brake fluid. And thank you to Ring for Service/Expert Auto Repair for getting me on my way! My family will be happy to see me for the holidays in one piece.
