News Updates: MBABAZI LEANING DELEGATES BLOCKED; NRM CARDS CONFISCATED. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Musinguzi Goodluck A few days ago we talked to about the danger of involving RDCs in accreditation of delegates. Kigezi News was wondering about the role the RDCs will play in this partisan business since they are public servants. It is now confirmed that they are doing partisan work and their role is to remove everyone they think is Mbabazis supporter from the list of delegates. In Lira for example, the District NRM secretary general has said that more than 15 delegates have not been cleared to attend the upcoming national conference on suspicion of supporting former premier Amama Mbabazi. According to sources, RDCs are removing names confiscating party identity cards delegates. Last Night Aisha Kabanda, the RCC for Kampala on a talk show on CBS radio said that RDCs are involved because they have done profiles on everyone and therefore they will make accreditation easy. NRM members are asking whether it still matters for people to choose their delegate. Accreditation team should only to confirm identity of delegate on the list not to remove and add.
