Alan is a punky, wandering ghost haunted by his past and searching for his future beyond death. RICKY: Mid- to late 20’s. Latino. Lean, average height, graceful physique. Alan’s boyfriend, Ricky is a lost and painfully confused spirit looking to reclaim his ghostly soul that was stolen away at death. ERNIE: Early to late 50’s. Irish. Average height. Pale, grimy and gruff. A smoker even after death, Ernie is the tough-love voice of reason who takes the afterlife as a place of tedium while recognizing the perils within it. SISTER SUSANNAH: 50 to 60 years old. Average height.Traditional Catholic nun. Frail with piercing eyes, Sister Susannah is a deformed spirit who keeps her cemetery’s occupants in line with the rules set forth by her terrifying new God, The Angel. THE ANGEL: Mid to late 20’s. Male. Muscled, athletic body who has grace and brute strength. A feared creature of the skies that snatches souls to be fed upon in a purgatorial state between life and death. 2 POLICEMEN: Mid 20’s to late 40’s. Male or female. Average to tall height.
