...CAUGHT UP? A Drama Scene: A man was preaching from the pulpit on salvation, and some youths/singles kept murmuring, saying: Ohhh, This bald head man has come again, he doesnt even know more than HEAVEN, HEAVEN! They ignored the mans message and chatted away. SUDDENLY, there was a great silence, no one was preaching again! They looked at the pulpit, saw his Bible but the man wasnt there. They looked around and noticed few people around had also disappeared! They got scared and asked: Could this be it?! It then dawned on them that it was the RAPTURE! Lady A said: why didnt you tell me this message on rapture is real and so close? Lady B then replied: But you also prevented me from responding to the altar call, you held me back with your gist....OH NO; HAD I KNOWN! Weeping, wailing and commotion everywhere; but alas, it is too late! THE SAINTS OF GOD ARE GONE! Matthew 24:40,41: Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be TAKEN, and the other LEFT. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be TAKEN, and the other LEFT. Why will one be taken and the other left? The Bible tells us in 1Thessalonians 4:16,17, that the Lord Himself will descend from heaven...with the blast of the trumpet. The dead in Christ shall rise first, then we the living ones in Christ, who remain on the earth, shall simultaneously be CAUGHT UP in the clouds to meet the Lord. ONLY those who are living in accordance with Gods Word, living a life of Holiness and has been washed with the blood of JESUS will be caught up; while those who are still wallowing in sin, turned deaf ears to the message of salvation, will be left behind! Definitely, not everyone will make Heaven; Hell fire will have some occupants! My dear brothers/sisters, the kind of christianity we profess, is it the type that will get us to Heaven? Are we following Gods standard of Holiness OR we have subtracted and added to His Word to suit our selfish purpose? No doubt, the population in Hell will be more than that in Heaven! How? Matthew 7:13,14 says: Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and MANY there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW there be that find it. This means, the way to destruction(Hell fire) is very broad and MANY are threading that path! But the way to life(Heaven) is very narrow and FEW are on that path! Lord, help me to be among the few, what about you? Beloved, now is the time to lay aside all weight/ or besetting sin. As we go through this month; Lets STRIVE, do all we can to live above sin! Nothing is too much to sacrifice for the glory above. Will we be caught up or left behind? Let our present actions/thoughts, speak for us. WELCOME US TO OUR MONTH OF ACTUALIZATION OF GODS PROMISES!
