Thanks community for the support! ***************************************** The Revolution Will be Televised This multi-disciplinary program begins with an art exhibit of Calgary photographer Sean Dennie’s work, which will be exhibited at Festival Hall beginning February 19, 2015. On the weekend of March 6th and March 7th, blues vocalist Shakura S’Aida and soul/R&B/blues guitarist Brooke Blackburn will teach vocal and guitar boot camp to local artists and students. The March 7th grand finale evening is a diverse cultural program that celebrates some of Alberta’s finest black artists: Sean Dennie, comedianne Aora Nwofor Calgary’s hip-hop duo DragonFli Empire, visual artist and jazz/beat poet Malcolm Mooney and funky roots-reggae and vintage pop singer Lynn Olagundoye.
