Went to bed, thinking nice thoughts, bright, capable, & compared to the competition in either party, she is a star by default. I enjoyed her insight of the mess in the middle east, the complicated & almost always thankless impossible hell that is. The topic of the Iraq leader, on troop withdrawal offering nothing that most do, for agreements, just grabbing or asking for goodies & no cooperation & treating the minority as he does & did, losing in that agreement some reassurances he would not do this. She did comment that sadly the USA opened the whole can of worms anyway, to some degree. Today, I, mostly the given dirty oil saga, no surprise, sad, if anything not only the same as four years ago, they smartly enriched, stole, laundered & regressed & enabled legally trade deals to sue the national purse & more, & more moved costs from the fat cats & the province to the national purse. No surprise the costly mess is doomed without billions stolen or gifts above & below the table, let alone creating third world conditions & risks, the national purse for the narrow greedy agenda, of losses & sucking up the country, slow but sure, in an ocean of fossils & more coming. The gifts pick up with the USA owners, sucking this nation dry & gutting it with this mess for years, & not all the USA fault, they had a hell of a welcome wagon decades ago, & now the power levers & you cannot rape the willing.
