CBS News reports (in a 20 second blip) on recordings of (former) President Clinton stating he had Osama Bin Laden...I couldve killed him. He goes on to say that he (Clinton) decided not to do it because he wouldve had to wipe out a little village called Khandahar and killed 300 women and children. If Clinton knew where and when Bin Laden was, and had him on the hit list, I find it extremely difficult to believe our Navy SEALs couldnt have taken him out with precision, and few, if any, civilian casualties. A SEAL sniper shot and killed a pirate holding an American hostage, in a rolling life boat, at distance, from the bow of another rolling ship, at night, with one shot. Please splain to me how an entire village wouldve had to have been destroyed?? And even OBama sent in a team that took him out without having to kill everyone in Bin Ladens compound... Im not a war monger, nor do I wish to read about civilian casualties. However...I wonder how Clinton felt when, just hours after these recordings were made, the events of 11 September 2011 took place?!?! I wonder how he felt, and what he felt he should say to the families of over 3000 Americans, after that happened?? I wonder what he felt he ought to say to all the families of all the U.S. soldiers who have been KIA or wounded in the various conflicts since?? (That not to try to take away the fact that Bush lied about what he lied about either!!!!). I wonder how things may have been different, and whether or not some of our friends would still be here, had Clinton had the courage and testicular fortitude to literally pull the trigger. And I also wonder if Clinton was just running his mouth to hear himself speak, and, in fact, never really had Bin Laden, as he stated. We are all very aware of Bills integrity... If hes not just flapping his gums, then he ought to donate a huge chunk of all the millions and millions hes made doing speaking engagements since he left office to the various funds supporting the families affected by 11 September and/or the Wounded Warrior Foundation. Id be feeling pretty guilty knowing I couldve done just a little evil to affect the greater good. And more Mainstream Media biased, IMO, by simply throwing the story in as an afterthought just prior to a commercial, for 20 seconds.
