CDC Issues Warning Amid Deadly Listeria Outbreak Linked To Caramel Apples. David Muir reported on ABC World News (12/19, story 9, 0:20, Muir) that the CDC has warned consumers not to eat packaged caramel apples, which are “now linked to an outbreak of Listeria” that has left five people dead.
