Contact Stan Dahlin at 425-985- 2333 to place your reservation... wakinikona As the temperature drops each evening leaving crisp air and blazing colors in our trees, it is time again to enjoy the changing of seasons. If you can block out from your mind thinking about raking leaves, Fall is a great season to be outdoors and enjoying the sunshine when it’s here. The same can be said about our October meeting/potluck. It is time to get out and wala’au with your fellow members before the cold of winter sets in, and the holiday preparations start crowding your calendar. Please come out and join us for our October meeting this Saturday at 6 PM. There will be drawings for door prizes, plus members always have interesting and tasty potluck items to share. As for business items, we know the Nominations Committee is working on a slate for club officers. Hopefully, there might be a report as to where they are on that process. Our po’o wa’a, Stan Dahlin, should be giving a report on the 2013 paddling season as the last race was held on the third weekend in September. There should be some information from our hospitality chair, Joan Sturrock, on our annual Christmas party. We’re hopeful that our club historian and one of our founding members, Larry Kamahele, will be present to either teach us a new Hawaiian song, or have a story or two to tell.
