CELEBRATE !!! cause were at # 201 members in just about four months ! For those who read about Dot the white female lab Jonny Jonny Nance found and because another one of our group members saw the post and found the sign at the mailboxes, DOT was returned to owner Lisa. I hope Lisa joins the group but this is a great example of why everyone should become AWARE of this site. If you dont OWN a pet but find one you can log on and check the DATABASE ( thank you Kelly Maurer ) so possibly NO HVL pet has to go to animal control. One of this years projects Cynthia Kelly and I are working on is developing a community foster care housing camps .... Long phrase meaning getting volunteers who can take in pets for SHORT periods of time while we wait for their owners to come home or locate them ... Just a teaser of things to come! Send us your ideas and thoughts and keep spreading the word! DOT was an amazing success story illustrating exactly why this site was created!
