CELEBRATING THE YEAR OF THE CHURCH: REVISITING VATICAN II Pope Francis has said that he wants to go back to the original efforts to renewal as begun at the Second Vatican Council (1962-1975). Dr. Kathy Shinhofen, well-known lecturer and teacher, will review the changes initiated at Vatican II and how we can continue to live out its spirit in today’s world. Be sure to be there on Thursday, June 13 from 7:15-9:00 pm in the Parish Center Hall. Dr. Schinhofen is a pastoral consultant for Compass and Key Consulting, a ministry to church and public service agencies, that offers large and small group facilitation, minister formation, spiritual direction and professional referrals. In addition to long experience as a facilitator for groups of all sizes, she is a regular instructor at local Catholic colleges and institutes on a variety of faith and pastoral ministry topics. She holds a Master of Ministry and a Doctorate in a Pastoral Counseling.
