CELTIC FC ..... SECOND TO NONE !!! I must admit it never ceases to amaze me when I hear people declare that Celtic are (Wait for it 😒) their second team.... This unfortunate phenomenon seems to be more prominent in Ireland than elsewhere but it does beg the question..... Why would anyone consider Celtic as a second choice?? Youll not need me to tell you what the star 🌟 above our crest symbolises.... Nor will you need me to tell you that the European Cup 🏆 is one of the toughest things to win in the entire sporting world.... It always has been.... To date only 22 teams have managed to get their hands on it.... These are the true elite of the game.... Footballing Royalty.... But Celtic didnt just win it.... They broke the mould in more wats than one.... An entire team born within a few miles of one another... Some describe Celtic as the first British team to win the big one... Thats an injustice... We were the first team outside of Latin Europe to do so.... Before Celtics triumph out was thought that teams from Northern Europe had no chance.... That all changed in 1967... In 1970 we came within a whisker of winning out again only to falter in the 117th minute... Three next time any such fan sits among. 60,000 Celts in the worlds greatest stadium whilst memorised by the most incredible atmosphere oh planet football ⚽ ask yourself the following!!!! What team comes remotely close. ???? Hail Hail
