CFS and MFS crews have been called to a house fire at Aldgate. The alarm was raised just before 11.30am with the first crews arriving a short time later to discover the fire which started in an adjoining wood storage shed had moved to the roof of the two-storey house on Old Mount Barker Road. The quick response of around 30 CFS and MFS fire fighters from the Bridgewater, Stirling, Aldgate, Piccadilly and Glen Osmond Brigades managed to contain the fire and prevented it from spreading further. Fire cause investigators have been called to the site to determine how this fire started. The house was unoccupied and there are no reports of injuries. A damage estimate has yet to be determined.
