CFS crews were called to a farm at Cleve on Eyre Peninsula late this afternoon to extinguish a fire that engulfed a tractor. The alarm was raised just after 5pm with CFS firefighters arriving a short time later at the property on Wake Road. About 10 firefighters took 20 minutes to contain the fire which started as the tractor was being used to shift burning stubble and rubbish. The driver was not injured but the fire caused an estimated $95,000 damage to the tractor.
