CHANGE FOR FRIDAY. Yall, it just doesnt look like were going to have enough people to warrant having a room reserved for us at Soulshine, unfortunately. So, Kim Robinson Oakes is going to call them today and cancel the reservation. We thought about waiting a few more days to see if we could get close to that bare minimum 35, but really, thats not fair to Soulshine. They need to be able to fill the place up, if they can. SO, heres the deal. Come anyway! :-) We wont have the room, but we can still eat and visit. Anyone who wants to go to the game can leave and then come back for drinks afterwards, if they would like. (The game starts at 7pm). We wont have an organized event, but theres no reason not to take advantage of the evening, if youve already planned to come. I think my husband and I will come on and have dinner up there, and just see who we can hang with! :-) And, because our primary babysitters AND our backup babysitter are ALL unavailable, were just going to bring the kids with us. So, if youre in that boat too, bring em! LeeAnn Bates, can you post this info to the event page? And THANK YOU to Kim and LeeAnn for all they did to make this happen. Its just harder to get these things together these days. With the emergence of Facebook, a lot of us feel like were caught up with each other, in a way. And were all so busy anyway, that taking time to add something else in to our schedule seems like a lot of work. I totally get it! But Kim and LeeAnn are fantastic, and I know we all truly appreciate it!! (Kim is rolling her eyes at me. I know. :-D ) And, yall, Im getting OLD!! :-D If I look at you funny trying to decide if I know you, dont be offended. Its just that my memory took off about 11 years ago. (Funny. My oldest child is 11. Hmmm). Yall keep praying for those of us fighting health battles, and I hope to share some pizza with you!
