CHANGE, IS IT? Today, climate is the new chorus. There seems to be a general agreement that the weather has changed drastically from what we used to know. The truth is that apart from the change in the weather, we humans too need to change. It is not enough for us to be saying it, we must be the change. If you do not want to change, who do you want to change? We must be the change we talk about. It is only when we change that we can change others. Our attitude to governance, our idea of leadership, our attitude to transparency must be seen to be above board. You can’t be asking your followers to tighten their belt while everyday your own waist and checks are getting fatter. If you want to effect a change in others, first change yourself.
