CHARITY CONTEST NOW TWO TEAM RACE (Monday afternoon, 7/21): heading into the Hotbeds Monday afternoon games, we can now safely say that the Charity initiative race for the shirts is currently a two team race. With 22 overall wins and $550 raised, the 16 AAs are already in the clubhouse, with no more games to play. The 16/17 As have 19 overall wins ($475) raised, with what appears to be 8 games remaining plus potential playoffs. It would seem the 16/17 As clearly have the inside track, but the team (two teams really, both A teams are playing for shirts in Delaware) each have very tough schedule, particularly the younger team which is largely playing up. I strongly suspect thisll come down to the wire. If the shirts go to the 16/17 As, theyll get them here at Hotbeds, as they are right now sitting in the back of the car, waiting to be claimed.
