Both my parents died and uncle has done everything to raise and educate me and my sister. I really honor him and I am forever grateful. I am now 29 years old and trying to get a lifelong partner to be my wife. The girl I love has a defect on one of her eyes but she is such a great person. Kind, patient, loving caring and intelligent. I dont mind about her eye at all. I love her. My uncle though is telling me to drop her because of an eye defect she was born with. It hurts me so much that uncle who has loved and cared for me for this long is the same person getting between me and my love. It is also very difficult for me to just ignore him. How can I handle this?
