CHECK OUT MY ALBUM UNDER THE PHOTOS SECTION OF THIS PAGE! The Arts and Eats Stroll in Willimantic Downtown Romantic Willimantic rolled along with lots of great comments, happy people, hospitable restaurants and establishments who opened their doors to 25 lucky people. The walk was so popular that people were all asking about signing up for next year! Thanks to the The Mill MuseumWindham Textile & History Museum, A Cupcake for Later, Thread City Diner LLC, Jewels Verne Jewelers, Quinebaug Valley Community College (the Willimantic Branch with Katie Gregory), Willimantic Music, Jamaican Me Crazy, Mi Riconcido and George Hernandez for the connection and the great spread of authentic foods, Leftys Landing, Cafémantic, Kerri Art Studio and Gallery, Tom Menard, The Willimantic Farmers Market, Windham Theatre Guild, Swift Waters Artisans, Ben Keller, Melica Bloom, Wayne Norman, The Chronicle, The Windham Arts, Martha Funderburk, Andrew Gutt, Walt Okoney, Gay Touma, Jamie Eves, Faith Kenton, Karen J. Gilbransen, Fun/Festivals/Flair radio show with Ally Kaufman, Hosmer Mountain Soda, The Last Green Valley for the Walktober event opportunity, and the 27 walkers who joined me and part of my family for a great walk! Tag away! Let me know if I have missed something. I listed all of the above businesses and people so that you can get a visual on how many people were involved with this simple idea. Thanks, also, to Thread City Development for the umbrella under which this walk was sponsored. It takes a village! And someone with a vision!
