Every couple of days (4-10 days) Id receive a bundle with a topsheet letter copy that had been sent to George detailing Cease&Desist correspondence. By reading the topsheet, you can imagine how thick the complete file was on piracy C&D correspondence. Why was there an army of lawyers battling pirates? Easy. The money involved in merchandise was far more lucrative than the box office. If the film broke even in a matter of weeks, can you imagine how much money we were talking about?
