From delectable real French pastries at L Atelier Gourmand, to the mouth watering chocolates of Chocolat Morand and the refreshingly surprising flavoured ice creams of Zio, our new Pimp my taste buds tour has a lot to offer to the curious and indeed lovers of food. Alfred will take you to the best places to tempt your taste buds!! Start with a caffeine kick at the local monring markets; continue to Chocolat Morand, the famous local chocolatier who works chocolate into all sorts of delightful chocolate concoctions. After an interesting and commentated drive along the seafont (passing lemon beach; Anse vata beach, the French Riviera, etc..) you will arrive at the newly established Zio Ice cream: with their refreshing and orignal flavoured icecreams , Zio Ice Creams is sure to satisfy your hunger for sweets. Then its time for more sweet delicacies at Atelier Gourmand- the famous shop that sells French pastries made from heaven. if you cant decide which one to taste, we can recommend their chocolate eclair and their Vanilla slice!! To spice up your adventure, we have included a stop at the famous Carribean Rhum House of Faubourg Blanchot: enter the multicolored universe of the Carribean islands of La Reunion, Guadeloupe & Martinique. You will be welcomed by a traditional Carribean dance before sampling some boudings noirs and accras; plus of course the star of the place: their home made rhum. From coconut to cinnamon, from banana to lytchee flavoured rhums, there is a wide range of flavours that awaits you at the Rhum House. To end this fab experience, we will take you to the country milk bar at St Michel where you can have a try at their 100% natural ingredients milk shakes- that will offer a sweet ending to the tour.
