Here is how you can get involved: 1) Admin support: are you able to commit to coming into the office for a couple of hours every or every other week to be part of a team that are reaching some if the most vulnerable people in Sheffield? We are in need of some admin support a crucial role in us being an effective team. No skills required just a willing heart and desire to take initiative. 2) Do you want to learn how to go out and visit people in their own homes and offer them practical solutions to their difficulties as well as having an opportunity to learn how to share Christs love when people are in desperate situations. Great experience if you are pastoral, evangelistic or prophetic or if you are wanting a career in the caring profession- great for your CV. 3) Are you creative? Then there are many opportunities to make gift packs, and cards for our CAP clients all year round; bake a cake or prepare some meals for the freezer, you can do this as an individual, family or missional community 4) Can you commit to being part of a team once or twice a month on a Thursday morning to greet and befriend a CAP client who needs help to gather paperwork for their financial statements; involves having a listening ear and supporting them to make some phone calls to ask for paperwork. 5) Do you want to be part of our prayer team? We gather weekly to pray and then once every 6 weeks in the evening. If you are a worshiper you are really welcome or anyone who has a heart to see prayer at the centre of all we do. THANKS.
