CHEERING ON THE NIS 5 COFIX REVOLUTION Oh joy...how grateful I am that Cofix opened in Raanana just weeks before I began working a mere block away. Serendipitous timing, indeed. While they dont promise to offer gourmet food, I find their NIS 5 sandwiches freshly made and perfectly acceptable, while their NIS 5 carrot juice is just as good as the NIS 14 juices sold elsewhere. I personally find their iced coffees and vanilla coffees too sweet, but they certainly deliver value, and the range of goodies appears to be growing all the time. Ive even spotted mini Nestle Crunch ice-creams - my personal favorite - in the NIS 5 selection and look forward to treating myself on the next, especially hot day. I now eagerly await the arrival of the first Cofix in Hod Hasharon and in every city in Israel. The time has certainly come for a cost-cutting concept like this.
