Another volunteer writes: Chewie is a sweet little girl who seemed a bit reserved at first. Greeting her and slowly extending my hand, she at first tolerated, and then welcomed, the affection. Slowly but surely, Chewie purred and meowed, and I knew I had a new friend. Just six months old, Chewie didnt exhibit the craziness you often see with kittens.
