CHICKEN TALK! When: Wednesday Sept 18th from 6:30-8:30 Where: 21 Acres, Woodinville, WA The primary goal for the class is to provide attendees with information about poultry health, strategies for keeping birds healthy, and knowing when to seek a veterinarian exam. The class covers characteristics of healthy and ill birds; conducting simple exams; common diseases and treatment regimens; and symptoms associated with developmental stages of the birds. Handouts and materials will be provided. 21 Acres is a non-profit organization with a vision to create and operate a vital, open public space for all of us to rediscover the agricultural heritage of our region and learn about cutting-edge, sustainable agricultural design and technologies as well as ways to maximize the beneficial aspects of fresh local produce and farm products.
