Tonight I had the honor of driving Molly Gail & some friends - TopicsExpress

Tonight I had the honor of driving Molly Gail & some friends around the neighborhood to sale yellow bows in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to benefit the JoAnna McAfee Childhood Cancer Foundation. Time stood still for a few moments as we arrived to our first home. I was reminded of doing that very same thing when I was in the 3rd grade, but the bows were a different color. I still remember helping my Granny tie those pink bows on anything that stood still as my Mother stayed up late each night making as many as she could before bed. The bows were in honor of my dear friend Bailey Eubanks who was fighting cancer as she returned home from a long stay in the hospital. The pink bows were a symbol of hope and covered our small town for the following days, weeks and months that were to come. Today I tied yellow bows in memory of my friend Bailey, JoAnna and the many other children who have lost their lives to cancer. These yellow bows are also a symbol of hope that one day soon a cure will be found and no other bows will be tied in memory, but in celebration of another child who lived. If you would like a yellow bow please message me and I will see to it that you get one. Please help me paint our town in yellow in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Helping today will bring hope tomorrow.
