CHIPOLOPOLO SQUAD FOR 2015 AFCON ANNOUNCED Zambia national team coach Honour Janza has announced his 23-man squad that will represent Zambia at the 2015 Africa Cup Of Nations in Equatorial Guinea. Zambia is drawn in Group B along with Cape Verde, Democratic Republic of Congo and Tunisia and has set up a training camp in South Africa. Janza told fazfootball when announcing the squad in Johannesburg that his selection was based on how each player performed in training. “It has been a very competitive training camp where every player was trying hard to make the grade but unfortunately we only have 23 places available and as such we had to part company with the four. This selection is based purely on current performance for each player, Janza said. The four players who were left out are striker James Chamanga, goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata, defenders Aaron Katebe and Bronson Chama. Janza has also named youngsters Spencer Sautu, Patrick Ngoma and Lubambo Musonda who are also part of the U-20 squad. “This is not the last Africa Cup of Nations tournament we are participating in, so it is vital that we have some young players being introduced to competitions of such nature.
