CHOLESTEROLVRYE RESEP CUSTARD SLICES 32 weigh less water biscuits 2 egg yolks 2 tbsp castor sugar 15 g plain flour 150 ml ultramel skim milk 1.5 ml vanilla essence 60 ml weigh less strawberry jam Place the egg yolks, sugar and flour in a mixing bowl and blend well. Bring the milk to just below boiling point, working quickly pour the hot milk into a bowl and whisk well. Pour the mixture back into the pot and return to stove. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring all the time and allow t cook for 2 minutes. Stir in the vanilla essence, remove from heat and cover with a circle of wet greaseproof paper, allow to cool. While egg mixture is cooling, spread half the biscuits with the jam. Assemble 8 of the biscuits on a serving tray, place a spoon of the egg mixture on each biscuit and cover with another biscuit. Continue until all egg mixture is used and finish with remaining biscuit that has been spread with the jam. Serve. Elmarie
