CHRISTIAN BELIEVERS WALK OF FAITH WITH GOD WALKING IN THE HOLY SPIRIT ... THE WORDS OF CHRIST FORM THE PERFECT FOUNDATION our beliefs must rest! JOHN 14:26, NKJV He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance that I have said to you. Apostle Paul recorded aspects of the Holy Spirits Ministry to the church as a whole and to individual believers in particular (see Romans 12 and ! Corinthians 12). In Galatians 5:22-23, Paul revealed the fruit that the Holy Spirit produces in the life of each believer, namely ... Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and self- control. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR OUR HUMAN NATURE TO PRODUCE ANY OF THESE. . . . . BUT IT IS NATURAL FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT to produce all of these in the life of believer because each one is inherent in Him (kasangga, kadikit at di hiwalay). And yet a daily battle rages betweenthe natural outworking of our own nature (Galatians 5:19-21) and our spirit, which longs to yield (upang maka-ALINSUNOD) TO THE HOLY SPIRIT. In a single sentence Paul revealed the only way we can overcome the power of our own nature: So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature (Galatians 5:16). . . sa isang aspeto na ito nga yuon ayaw mo nga subalit gusto mong pagbigyan pa rin sa pagtatalo ng kaisipan at damdamin: soul (flesh desires) and spirit collision. Unfortunately, many believers have focused so intently on the gifts of the Spirit that they have lost sight of the fruit of the Spirit and the Holy Spirits other vital ministries. The Words of Christ form the perfect foundation upon which ... our beliefs must rest. Interestingly, the first role or ministry of the Holy Spirit that the LORD REVEALED WAS THAT.... HE WILL TEACH YOU ALL THINGS, AND BRING IN YOUR REMEMBRANCE ALL THINGS THAT I HAVE SAID TO YOU (JOHN 14:26 NKJV).
