CHRISTS REIGN WITH THE SAINTS. The redeemed will reign with Christ. The 1000 yrs reign of Christ described in Revelation 20 is often called the Millennium meaning thousand . Christians interpret this passage differently, those who believe there is no literal 1000 yrs reign are called AMILLENNIALISTS (A means NO). They believe satan was bound by Christs victory on the Cross and that this 1000 yrs is symbolic of the saints ruling spiritually with Christ now. Others believe that the preaching of the gospel results in a Spiritual Millenial reign of Christ, after which Christ will come for the final defeat of Satan. These Christians are called POSTMILLENIALIST ( post means after). Christians who take the passage literally believe that when Christ returns,He along with resurrected saints will rule on earth for 1000yrs while Satan is bound. Then satan will still deceive the nations in one final rebellion,which Christ will quickly sqelch. After this the rest of the dead (those who died in their sins)will be resurrected and judged. Those who believe Christ comes before the Millenium are called PREMILLENIALIST(pre means before). It is very important not to get into arguments over the interpretation of prophesy. Every Christian can learn aspects of the truth from other Christians in a spirit of humility and respect. What is important is to be ready for the return of Christ and to warn others of the need to be ready. All Bible believing Christians agree that Jesus is Coming again and will reign over a new Heaven and a new Earth. PRAISE THE LIVING GOD.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
