CIMB ASEAN Stock Challenge The CIMB ASEAN Stock Challenge is back! This is a regional stock trading competition for university students from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand to gain ”hands-on” experience of cross-border trading in four major stock exchanges of ASEAN. University students from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand will be able to trade virtually on all four (4) exchanges - Bursa Malaysia, Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX) and Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). This is the first stock trading competition that incorporates trading across major ASEAN stock exchanges. Participants will experience the excitement of buying and selling stocks in a fully simulated environment. In its 4th year, the competition offers bigger cash prizes, with the finalist teams set to walk away with a total of US$28,000 cash! This year CIMB Group is collaborating with TalentCorp to reach out to more students giving them opportunities to showcase their talent for stock trading. Who can join the competition? Open to undergraduates in all disciplines from public and private universities. Each team must consist of 2 to 4 participants from the same university.
