CITY OF GRAND TERRACE STREET REMINDS RESIDENTS ABOUT STREET SWEEPING SCHEDULE AND ENFORCEMENT Clean streets make roadways safer for cars, bicycles and pedestrians. The City of Grand Terrace provides monthly street sweeping services to keep our community clean. The City is divided into six zones that are served on a regular schedule each month. Barton Road and Mount Vernon Road are swept weekly. Residents and businesses are reminded to remove ALL vehicles from city streets between 6:00 am and 3:00 pm on designated street sweeping days in your zone. No parking is allowed during this time even if street sweeping crews have already served the area. Vehicles found on the street during this time will be ticketed. “In order to maximize efficiency and ensure that all streets are swept, we need to maintain strict parking enforcement on street sweeping days,” said Interim City Manager Ken Henderson. “We are asking for the community’s help to keep our streets clean.” Signs are posted throughout the City advising the public which day each street will be swept. The current schedule is as follows: • Zones 1 & 2 First Thursday of each month • Zones 3 & 6 Second Thursday of each month • Zones 4 & 5 Third Thursday of each month If you do not know which zone your property is located in, please visit our website at CityofGrandTerrace.org and select Street Sweeping from the list of Departments.
