CITY SCHOOL DIED?: Frederick Sr had built an empire from his blood, sweat and tears. In my opinion, City School could have had 500 students and hired a minimum of 30 full-time and 30 part-time employees. In fact, the school should have had branches in many islands. That means many of our relatives and friends that are now experiencing financial problems could have had additional income streams, but also that the great educational lessons my father was creating (along with other great minds) could have helped many more people. Yet City School died. I am a thousand miles away, and tried to motivate a few people to save it, but to no avail. SO my father is dead, in the grave, City school is dead, and family and friends that could have had monthly income from the school will not. Although I am homeschooling and about to start an online school of my own, I will be (financially, logistically) starting from scratch. Why is it that many black folks create but there is no team to help keep their dream alive? I think to many people (especially those in political/educational power, and even in his so-called circle) my father lived a life as an OUTSIDER, cast out, without the respect that he deserved. We know he wasnt perfect, but he really was a brilliant educator and historian. RIP dad. The dream is NOT totally dead... 3rd child. Spice. https://youtube/watch?v=WpYeekQkAdc
