CITY-WIDE SNOW CLEARING UPDATE: March 12-17 - An accelerated version of this program is running. Snow grader crews will be removing ruts by neighbourhood across the city. Because this is an accelerated, large initiative, the placement of no parking signs and relocating vehicles will not occur. Graders will be going around parked vehicles. The city-wide snow grading is a proactive approach to push the snow to the outside of the road so that ruts will not develop as the snow softens and melts. Graders will create windrows or push snow onto boulevards, being careful to uncover as many catch basins as possible. They will also attempt to leave parking spaces where possible. The snow will not be removed. Streets where grading has not occurred will be addressed in these neighbourhoods. Snow grading will not occur within school zones for the safety of children. Snow has already been removed on many of these streets this winter. Schedule - 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 12 College Park College Park East Confederation Park Dundonald Thursday, March 13 Pacific Heights Stonebridge 1 Westview Friday, March 14 Briarwood Lakewood Massy Place Meadow Green Stonebridge 2 Saturday March 15 Coming soon! Sunday March 16 Coming soon! To report deep ruts on a street that is not scheduled, please complete an online form or call the Public Works customer service centre at 306-975-2476. The city-wide snow grading is funded through the new dedicated road levy funding. saskatoon.ca/DEPARTMENTS/Infrastructure%20Services/Public%20Works/Roadways/Snow%20and%20Ice/Pages/ResidentialSnowClearing-April2013.aspx
