CLASSIFIED, NON-EXEMPT POSITION – PAY GRADE 14 Glenville State College seeks applicants for an immediate full time position with benefits: Information Technology Consultant: Responsibilities include: Training faculty/staff with classroom as well as office technologies, reloading operating systems, setting up new computers for faculty/staff, connecting printers and adding drivers, maintaining and upgrading computer labs, using Symantec Ghost and Faronics Deep Freeze, tracking computer resources, installation and termination of Cat5e network cables, installation of new classroom technologies, and audio/visual setups for special events. Minimum requirements include a Baccalaureate Degree with 1 year experience in a related field. Equivalent work experience in information systems may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Applicants must demonstrate a strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office products, as well as Active Directory, Domain Architecture, Symantec Antivirus and Ghost, Faronics Deep Freeze, Smart Technologies, and networking skills. Individual needs to be energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and have clear communication skills. This position will require the ability to work well with college students, faculty, and staff.
