CLEAR WAY FOR KOOKABURA FLY WAY By: Maivo Lafanama The National Capital District Commission, has told settlers living at the Erima Wild Life Junction in Port Moresby, to move out by today. This is after a 14-day notice served two weeks ago, lapsed. P-N-G Power workers went into the area today with police, to disconnect electricity to houses and several trade stores, built along the main highway. Locals who spoke to NBC News say, the settlers will have to move out, as they are living on State Land and the new Kookaburra Fly Way, will run through that area. However, those living 20 meters inland on Portion 172, have taken out a court order on their eviction. The National Court is expected to make a ruling on this matter, tomorrow.
