CLEARING THE AIR: TTYA STANDS AGAINST CYBER BULLYING FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Sunday 23rd March, 2014 The Trinidad and Tobago Youth Alliance (T.T.Y.A.) takes this opportunity to distance and disassociate ourselves from all false allegations, untruths, and unsubstantiated claims and attacks that have been making the rounds via social media over the last couple of days. We would also like to strongly denounce these attacks made against the integrity of our organization and all office holders within the organization by agents who are bent on mischief making. This attack made by a cyber-bully serves only to create and unhealthy environment in which bacchanalia and scandal are the orders of the day, this dangerous development of must not be allowed to be a part of our youth development and social sector. We at the Trinidad and Tobago Youth Alliance would also like to take this opportunity to reiterate our believe in transparency in this light where substantial truthful allegations are made against office holders let it not be done under a cloak of secrecy behind pseudo (fake) social media profile(s) or cyber-bullying but it will be in an open transparent manner where both parties can be heard in the interest of natural justice. We would also like to issue a call for all young persons to not fall prey to online cyber bullying. Please report all matters of cyber bullying to your Local Police Station. In the interest of all our valued members, stakeholders, affiliates and general public will also like to take this opportunity to help you understand a bit Trinidad and Tobago Youth Alliance.
