Photographs from War Photo Exhibition Dubrovnik 2013 "Enclave". I believe that the memory if fundamental because often people forget quickly and you become a victim of revisionism and negationism which is so convenient for those who want to make up history. dubrovnik cannot be just a tourist destination. it is a place of human resistance and triumph of beauty. we must catch the true sense of beauty of this town because freedom has a different flavour in croatia than in any other part of europe. this is victory. victory against those who wanted to bring dust and horror into the quiet life of decent people. those who wanted to kill us, have us sad and defeated. if our answer is anger and revenge, they would have won in their plan of poisoning our hearts and heads. instead we answer that we are very much alive, happy, fully of successes. we have won, beauty and civilization over primitivism and barbarians.
