CLFI and Y-JAM spread love to the Kids of Mt. Banahaw Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation, Inc. (CLFI) once again supported the Young Journalist Association of Mandaluyong (Y-JAM) in its annual Christmas Outreach for the kids of Mt. Banahaw, Dolores Quezon on December 20. Cebuana staff with its scholars and Y-JAM members trekked some parts of Mt. Banahaw led by Mr. Joselito Cinco, Y-JAM adviser. After that, they had a boodle fight lunch which also became an avenue for the volunteers to know each other. Volunteers, who brought donated toys and candies for the kids, assisted in the fun-filled program prepared by Mr. Cinco. They entertained more than 70 kids with exciting games full of prizes. CLFI Executive Director Atty. Cesar Vidal gave each of the kids an “Aguinaldo” partnered with a gift which was wrapped by the volunteers as well. After that, Mr. Cinco raffled items like stuff toys, bags of rice, and money donated by his friends to make it more enjoying for the kids. This joint project has always been bringing cheers to the kids of Mt. Banahaw every yuletide season for nine years already.
