~ CLOSING MY FACEBOOK ACCOUNT ~ This time Im seriously closing my Facebook account, as you will soon see. Facebook has treated our privacy as a JOKE. They RESTRICT the exposure of people who are controversial. For a long time I have tried to encourage people to become aware of the games that social media sites like Facebook are playing. Recently there was a study (funded partly by the Department of Defense) which was aimed at understanding group behavior, in an attempt to use this information to avoid civil unrest. I REFUSE to feed this machine anymore. Facebook constantly restricts me and have tried to strangle my network for long time. I do care about all the friendships I have on Facebook and would like to stay connected with you all, but the time has come for me to say goodbye to Facebook. The process might take up to a fortnight to complete since the system has to scan the entirety of itself making sure all data related to you—every tagged picture, like, and mention—but when its gone, its all gone. The process is irreversible. Im sure the FB bastards have kept is somewhere but thats just what they do. Please do me one favor and just click LIKE below so that my FB friends can see this.
