CMCA at Face Book Aid Trust The BOT of CMCA@FB Aid Trust assembled in an Emergency Meeting off the Critical situation of CMC47 Alumnus Dr Sanjana Jerin on 30 August 2014 at 1030 at the Office of the Trust Chairperson in Chittagong. The Proceedings & Resolutions of the BOT Meeting Attendees: 1. By Cell (Dhaka): Dr Maruf Bin Habib, Dr Soheli Sattar, Dr A K M Khairuzzamn Milton 3. By Cell (Sylhet): Dr Umme Salma Munmun The CMCA@FBAT is joining with all CMCians and others to condemn this heinous event that has been leading to the critical life threatening situation with crushing the cherished dream of a doctor at the beginning of the career. It has been conveying the heartfelt empathy to all near and dear ones and kith and kin of the victim our fellow colleague. It also has been strongly placing the appeal and demands to concerned authorities for appropriate action in this behalf and submitting demands to the professional organizations to come beside Dr Sanjana Jerin with all out helps and supports. 2. The Trustees also acknowledging the diehard professional pursuits of all who have been relentlessly involved for providing the most efficient care to Dr Sanjana Jerin. 3. Though the management is very expensive and the BOT has gathered that a minimum of BDT 5K per day is necessary, and, even then husband of Dr Sanzana Jerin or any of her relation have not approached for any type of help, the Trust feels that it is its responsibility and obligation to come by her support in this crucial period for that it has been established as per the law of the country. 4. As per Trust Deed the following measures shall be initiated. a. BOT (Board of Trustees) is hereby approving an amount of BDT 100,000 immediately for makeup the treatment expenses. At a rate of 5K per day expense that has been gathered this amount will cover for 20 days. If necessary after that more amounts shall be released along with collection of contributions from CMCians. 5. The support amount shall be handed over to husband of Dr Sanzana Jerin through his Bank Account immediately. 6. Dr Sanjana has been made a member of the Trust in a retro mode immediately and the fees has been gifted by the Chairperson of the BOT to make her eligible for getting support from the Trust as per the Trust Deed. 7. Fund collection drive shall be launched immediately by issuing appeal through all portals with a request to deposit the contribution to the designated bank account of the Trust given below. Besides all funds that shall be collected for this purpose will be deposited to the designated account of the Trust the particulars as below- Account Name: CMC Alumni at FB Aid Trust AC No: 3101 3999 0900 1 Bank: The City Bank Limited Branch: Probartok More, Chittagong Swift Code: CIBLBDDH 8. The Chairperson has contributed BDT 50K to the Trust and the cheque in this behalf has been handed over to the Treasurer in the meeting. 9. Those who will deposit money please add a line in the deposit slip (for cash or cheque) and in the cheque within parenthesis (For Sanjana) and please post an image of the slip/cheque to the inbox of the Chairperson (Emran Bin Yunus) or Treasurer (Romel Sahadat Hossain) or Managing Trustee (Maruf Bin Habib). 10. The BOT has been conveying to all concerned that this is a constitutional liability of the Trust and also an obligation of fellowship to extend help for each for other without any prejudice. The CMCA@FBAT is feeling fortunate to be able to come forward for supporting a fellow CMCian. 11. It has been perceived unanimously that a strong Trust is a must for Rapid Support Action (RSA) in this type of malady. For so doing the following resolutions are adopted: a. By increasing enrollment of members for the Trust. Parallel to the fund raising membership enrollment will be continued. Every contributor is here by requested that with their contribution please add BDT 3000 as membership fee. This will be remain deposited in the Trust Fund for anytime use in similar manner. Membership Form Filling and other formalities will be duly notified. Membership of the Trust will make one eligible for getting support as per the Trust Deed. b. It has been resolved that any leftover contributions shall remain deposited for the future. c. It has been resolved that that accountability and transparency are other attributes of strong organization. The Balance Sheet of Receipts and Expenses will be posted for information of all. This will be in addition to the Regular Audit Report of the Trust as per Trust Deed. 12. The BOT has been joining all CMCians and others for appealing to the Almighty with praying and rituals to grant the divine blessing so that she recovers at the earliest and be engaged what she is supposed to for the wellbeing of fellow humankind for that she has prepared and groomed herself over decades. 13. The Meeting is expressing thanks and gratitude to all CMCians for supports in different manners to the Trust and specially to Dr Ahmed Sharief Suvo in Melbourne, Dr Ferdaush Ahmed Faisal in London and Dr Shimul Koli Hossain in Dhaka for their contributions even more than Trustees. 14.
