CMS SOAR MENTORS HELP OTHER STUDENTS Recently, Cheney Middle School counselors Martha Meyers-Harris and Dave Johnson trained twenty-five 7th and 8th grade students to become peer mentors to 6th graders. The SOAR (Success Over All Resistance) program is designed to help students who may be having challenges with many of the aspects of becoming a middle school student. Peer mentors meet weekly with their mentees to provide support on many levels. We are very proud of these SOAR mentors!
