CO State Senator Evie the Hutt has resigned instead of facing a looming recall election. Had she been replaced by a Republican, the CO Senate wouldve swung in favor of the Republicans. At this juncture, the judge can rule that the recall proceed, but it looks unlikely at this point. While some are calling this a win, I will note that Bloomberg got exactly what he wanted. Until those laws are overturned, I dont see how you can call this a win.
