COCONUTTY GREEN SMOOTHIE- THE MONDAY SMOOTHIE The start of the week and for most, the day of despair! It is also the most energy sapping day of the week as well. So going for a smoothie of high energy content and vitamins is the best option, since it helps you to maintain active throughout the whole day. The combination of bananas and spinach in this smoothie makes it a highly nutritious, since it contains large amounts of vitamins such as Vitamin A, B and C along with loads of iron and potassium. While the coconut oil boosts the energy content in the smoothie. So grab yourself this stuff, A cup of frozen and chopped up bananas, A generous handful of spinach, A cup of vanilla flavored yoghurt or milk, 2 tablespoons of coconut cream concentrate, A tablespoon of coconut oil, Some ice cube if you prefer. Now chuck all these ingredients except for the coconut oil, into the blender and start blending it. While blending, gradually add in the coconut oil. Keep on blending until you reach a smooth textured smoothie with a thick consistency. Top it all off with a scoop of ice cream or a lemon wedge as a garnishing.
