However, due to her overall medical condition she is not a good candidate for a SAFER assessment at this time. The Enrichment team spent time with Cuddles and reports the following: Cuddles is easy to remove from her kennel, will allow being picked up without struggling or exhibiting distress. She has a high tail wag when she is petted and will move to the direction of her handler when called (most of the time). We have experienced no concerning behavior in the care center, but since we have not been able to fully assess Cuddless behavior and we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home, we recommend an experienced adopter without small children.
