** CODE RED! SENIOR SHELTER DOGS DIE TODAY! ** I know its frustrating when we post these dogs last minute and we apologize. We just learned about these two Beagles (Brownie & Roy), but they are scheduled to die today in KY. They are both senior dogs and have lived their entire lives on chains. They were taken to the shelter because their owner has Alzheimers and was put into a nursing home. Both dogs were heartworm positive, but their owner did pay to have them treated. Their shelter is full and since they are both older dogs, their fate has been scheduled :( After such a miserable life, these guys deserve to live out their golden years with dignity in the comfort of a home.
