COFFEE COMMENTS: Good Morning Everybody! Great weekend. I spun the wheel on the weather and won for the most part. Rode both days and Friday night and missed the showers all together! God [or common sense] did speak to me at the Starbucks in Carmel, Saturday, as I waited to meet up with the vintage guys for the ride to the KOKOMOTO. After receiving the text they were rained out at the airport, I stepped outside and looked north. 3 claps of thunder and the blackest cloud said NO WAY, Rich! Beat a path back thru revival brick-and-stone ville to Keystone and back to the compound for an afternoon nap with only a half dozen of those great big rain blobs on my windshield that look like the very sensuous part of the female anatomy with all the little bumps. [sorrry!] STARBUCKS, coffee that is normally too expensive, too burnt, to drink regularly does bring back memories of the original store in Pike Place Market where we would stop after shopping for a drink. Several of my friends would routinely play out front on Saturdays. Artists and fresh everything from salmon to flowers in the market. Cobblestone streets and cast iron architecture.... Cheers, Rich
