COLD BREW COFFEE Do you like making your own coffee at home? Any favorite recipes? I have a crazy bad stomach - I attribute it to years of drinking cooled down Nescafe (5 teaspoons, black) throughout college - so cold brewing my coffee is the only I can handle coffee without wanting to kill myself over and over again while crying and beating my chest simultaneously. I grind a cup of Guatemala beans from North End super finely because Im a fokir and like my caffeine, and brew it with cold water in a French press for around 18 hours. This gives me super rich coffee concentrate that I usually dilute with cold water and ice. Its very smooth and it really beats the traditional method of icing shots of espresso because why the hell would you brew hot coffee only to throw ice cubes in it. Seriously, where is the logic in that. Starbucks does it and thats why Starbucks sucks. Heres a recipe with pictures and stuff. Try this at home, your stomach and soul will thank you.
